Mechanical Overhaul and restoration of a 1994 Mazda Miata.
- Engine and transmission were removed from the chassis.
- Head was inspected for tolerance limits and decked at a machine shop.
- Valves were regrinded and polished.
- Seals Changed.
- Cylinders inspected for wear tolerance and re-honed
- All new hardware and electrical consumables were used.
Failure Analysis
Onboard PCBs and wiring harness for airbag system were diagnosed and repaired. Emissions issues diagnosed and repaired as well.
